Wendy & Kyle’s Wedding

We want to thank each and every one of you who made a difference in our lives and prepared us to be the people we are, to find each other, and to keep our eyes focused on what is truly important in life

How We Met:

Kyle and I met on eHarmony.com. We had both all but given up on dating, and reserved ourselves to being single the rest of our days. One late night two friends convinced me to give online dating a try. I forgot for two months to cancel the service (which I heard this was also Kyles problem) and during that time we met each other. We both decided to be the last date using the site and as it turned out it truly was. We met for the first time at Matt's Bar and Grill, ate our Juicy Lucy's and walked around the neighborhood for hours. The rest is history.

How We Got Engaged:

Kyle told me we were going out to a special dinner. We drove all over Wayzetta and I actually thought he might be lost. His parents and him always know the cutest little places so I was working on trusting that he knew where to go. We past a park that a friend of his had gotten married at and that was when he asked if I wanted to take a look at it. I said sure but when we pulled up the park was closed... and apparently here in MN that means you put a gate up and lock it. Not knowing this was his only plan...I asked if he wanted to sneak in and he excitedly said yes. As I envisioned us falling and impaling ourselves, we made it over the fence. We walked around a little bit until we got to this gazebo that hung over the lake. We stood their for a short time and then he turned to me, got down on one knee, said a bunch of incredibly sweet things and then popped the question. After we celebrated briefly and walked around in fear of getting caught, we then hopped back over the fence and drove off to Sunsets to eat and tell everyone the good news.

The sum which two married people owe to one another defies calculation. It is an infinite debt, which can only be discharged through all eternity.
